| Enhances the non-science student's understanding of the enterprise of physics, its basic laws and principles, its methods, its accomplishments, its impact and its relationship to past cultures and to our own. Specific topics include the scientific method and the creative process; space, time and relativity; the nature of matter and radiation; energy, the Newtonian and quantum mechanical universes; and topics on the frontier of contemporary physics. | |
