A practical introduction to the physics and science in everyday life designed for the non-science student. Examines everyday objects and focuses on their designs, principles of operation, histories, and relationships to one another. Emphasis is on everyday technology involving mechanical and thermal processes, electromagnetism, light and radiation, and atomic and nuclear physics. | |
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 111 and for any general education math. | |
