| 3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. | |
| Investigate the Earth's four major natural systems: the biosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere. Explore the activities of humans that influence the natural functioning of these Earth systems. Study is global in scope and local in orientation. Examine the interrelationships among science, technology, politics and history that govern past environmental policy, and consider how these disciplines will help shape the environment of the future. | |
| Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 111 and for any general education math. | |
| Note: Credit is not given for both BIO 107 and BIO 108. | |
