Catalog Description:
Meets the associate degree general education requirement in Science.  
4 credit hours - Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory weekly; one term.
An introduction to members of the animal kingdom and their closest relatives.  Study how animals have evolved adaptations that allow representatives to occupy all terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.  Students will learn how vertebrate and invertebrate animals are classified and how particular adaptive strategies are important for their survival through an examination of animal form and physiology.
Lab fee:  $45.
Prerequisite:  Eligibility for ENG 111 and for any general education math.
