3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. | |
An introduction to concepts in modern biology and their impact on society. The scientific method as a way of learning will be stressed. Areas of emphasis include cellular and molecular biology, genetics and biotechnology, and evolution. | |
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 111 and for any general education math. | |
Note: Credit is not given for both BIO 101 and BIO 102. | |
